It was forbidden to work at Astravetsk enterprise
Investigation of yesterday’s explosion at Astravetsk “RostBaltComplect” ltd is in process. Three workers suffered from it and were taken to hospital. ERB managed to phone to Astravetsk hospital to find out how they were doing. A doctor Dzyanis Kazakevich said:
“It was a very old workshop. There are rumors it was forbidden to work there at all. A furnace exploded. One of the workers got burns of the belly and the left arm.”
According to him, the 53-year-old man was also contused. He is still in the emergency room. The other two workers are in the surgery department with fractures and head injuries.
Let us remind you that a window was broken, the roof, walls and equipment were damaged in the workshop where sawdust briquettes were produced.
By the way, the State Control Committee forbade to work at the enterprise in January, but the administration of “RostBaltComplect” ignored the regulation.
