International commission postpones session over Union of Poles in Belarus

The session of the Belarusian-Polish commission, scheduled for early June, has been put off indefintely. The Belarus Partisan reports this commission is to identify the causes of the conflict over the unrecognized Union of Poles in Belarus. The commission has not suspended its operation, but it will not gather in June, Polish embassy in Minsk secretary Pavel Marchuk said.

The delay has been caused by staff changes at the Polish foreign ministry. Poland's Ambassador in Belarus Genrych Litvin had to take over as the Polish vice foreign ministry after the death of Andrzej Kremer in the plane crash near Smolensk.
