Industry costs 2 percent up in April 2008

Industry costs have grown 2 percent in April against March 208, the Ministry Statistics said in a report. This also includes higher costs of capital funds (1.7 percent), transition goods (2.5 percent), consumption goods (1 percent). Electricity tariffs grew 2.9 percent; thermal energy became 1.5 percent more expensive. In the agricultural machinery production sector, costs rose 4.5 percent. Costs in the cement industry grew by 61.5 percent.

In the sectors that produce foodstuffs and consumption gods, costs rose by 1 percent in April 208, reports Belapan.
