Ilham Aliyev lent money to Minsk to pay debt for Russian gas

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev lent money needed to pay the debt for Russian gas to Belarus. Alyaksandr Lukashenka claimed it in an interview with the Euronews TV channel. According to him, Aliyev quickly lent $200 million to Belarus and the country managed to pay the debt to “Gazprom” during the recent crisis.
The Belarusian leader told “Euronews” that Russian gas “had to be sold twice cheaper taking into account the price for the fuel Europe received from other countries”.

According to Lukashenka, Russia is very offended by the fact that Venezuelan oil was delivered to Europe. “This Venezuelan oil will be all over Europe soon”, - reports BelaPAN quoting Lukashenka.
