Hungarian police use tear gas to stop migrants

A group of ‘aggressive’ migrants forced their way across the Serbian border, Reuters quotes the Hungarian police.

“Legal and commensurable measures are being taken to protect the Hungarian and EU border,” the press service of the Hungarian police reports.

The Hungarian police used tear gas and water cannons to stop the breakthrough, UNIAN reports.

By the way, Hungary has introduced the state of emergency in two regions due to the influx of migrants. The country is about to decide whether to place police cordons at the Romanian border in case migrants decide to reach Europe from there.
