Head of collective farm imprisoned for underpricing state machinery

Lyahavichy District Court has sentenced the head of a local agricultural producers' co-operative to 4.5 years of imprisonment.
The woman sold a building to an entrepreneur at a price that was 10 times lower than the real one. However, even that money did not arrive to the account of the co-operative. Moreover, the woman sold several tractors to her relatives.

They were also underpriced. The woman was accused of power abuse, causing great losses and stealing state property. By the way, three heads of collective farms were imprisoned in Lyahavichy District last year.
