Girl's killer found mentally sick

A 29-year-old resident of Minsk, charged with murdering Ira Kuzhelnaya, 7, has been found by a team of psychiatrists to suffer from a total memory loss. The expertise was carried out at the Navinki Psychiatric Hospital, Mikalai Pilinkevich, the first deputy prosecutor of the Minsk region, told reporters.
After the investigation is finished, the case will be tabled to the Minsk Regional Court which will eventually decide on the punishment or forced treatment of the accused.

The girl's body was found on January 3 7 km off the village of Belaruchy where the girl lived together with her mother. Ira Kuzhelnaya went missing on November 23, 2007, reminds Belapan.
