German commissioner for human rights to visit Minsk
The commissioner for human rights and humanitarian aid in the Foreign Office of the Federal Government of Germany Markus Löning will visit Minsk on January 14 and 15, informs BelaPAN referring to the press service of the German Embassy. The reason for the visit are the events that occurred in Belarus after the presidential election and arrests of opposition members.
"The commissioner for human rights will meet opposition representatives, relatives of the arrested critics of the regime and representatives of the government”, - is noted in the message.
