Georgia: Opposition candidate wants his country out of CIS because of Lukashenka

Levan Gachechilidze, a presidential contender on behalf of the united opposition, has spoken out in favor of Georgia's withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The politician noted that Georgia could remain in the CIS, if the Commonwealth "was free". He stressed that "it is impossible to be part of an organization together with Belarus president Alexander Lukashenka", reports Belapan.
