Freedom Day organizing committee created in Belarus
The Freedom Day organizing committee has been created in Belarus. The Members of the BPF Party, movement For Freedom, United Civil Party and the organizing committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party have joined it, BelaPAN reports.
“March 25 is the most important date in the history of modern Belarus. It unites all Belarusians devoted to the BPR ideals regardless of their age, political views and political affiliation,” the organizing committee reports. The political structures mentioned above are urging all interested organizations and institutions to send their representatives to the organization committee and take an active part in the preparation for the celebration of the Freedom Day.
The first meeting of the organization committee will be held at the BPF Party headquarters in Minsk on February 3.
The independence of the Belarusian People’s Republic was declared in Minsk on March 25, 1918.
