Film on opposition, pro-government youth being shot in Belarus
Directors Iryna Pismennaya and Ela Milova are shooting a new film about the youth from the Belarusian Popular Front and the pro-governmental union of youth (BRSM), Iryna Pismennaya said in an interview with the European Radio for Belarus. They plan to finish the film by the end of this year.
Iryna Pismennaya: “We are in the process of shooting a film about the youth from the Belarusian Popular Front. We also want to portray those at the BRSM. We want to bring them together and show the differences. You know, it is so difficult. We work basically underground, because we don't want to let anyone down. I think we will be done by the end of the year. It is a big film, big difficulties".
