Chopper flips over on lift-off in Valozhyn

The transport safety board in Minsk is probing the accident on April 9 in the Valozhyn district when a KA-26 helicopter flipped over during lift-off. The chopper belongs to the Minsk-based General Line aviation company.  The accident took place near the village of Dory, Valozhyn district in the Minsk region. The helicopter made in 1974 was carrying 700 liters of chemicals for spraying the fields.

A 48-year-old pilot survived the accident, but the machine is seriously damaged, reports Belta.
