Blast in Ukrainian Nikolayev high-rise (photo)
The explosion has destroyed three floors of a nine-storey block of flats.
The explosion damaged all the nearby flats, UNIAN reports. The entrance got blocked by debris. The blast was so strong that even people living a few blocks from the spot could hear it.
The city administration, regional police and rescuers arrived there.
Medics carried injured people out of the building, witnesses said. The number of victims has not been reported yet.
