Belarusian representative wins Miss Wheelchair World title

Belarusian Alyaksandra Chychykava won the title Miss Wheelchair World on October 7 in Warsaw. Besides Alyaksandra, there were 23 more participants of the beauty pageant including Angelina Uelskaya, a well-known Belarusian model suffering from cerebral palsy.
Alyaksandra Chychykava is 23 years old, she took a spontaneous deacon to take part in the contest and made it to the final.
The girl became handicapped at 17 when she had just entered Kiev Theological Seminary. She cannot walk now but she is active: she is studying to become a psychologist, playing in the Free Theatre and working in the hypermarket 124. She can drive and does sports.
