Belarusian gold reserves total about 30 tons

The Belarusian gold reserves total about 30 tons, informed a deputy Minister of Finance Yan Zayash. According to BelTA, the country’s gold and exchange currency reserves have reached more than 5.5 billion dollars including 30 tons of gold.

The main part of the gold and exchange currency reserves is acquired due to collection and recycling of metal and non-ferrous metal scrap. About 300-350 kilos of gold and 3-3.5 tons of silver are obtained every year. State administration organs and enterprises get state orders for non-ferrous scrap metal every year.
