Belarusian fencers are not allowed to enter USA because of Iranian visas
The team of Belarusian epee fencers aspiring to win Olympic medalswas refused permission to get American visas last week.
The delegation prepared all documents in time and arrived in the American Embassy in Moscow. According to witnesses, there had been no problems until an employee of the Embassy noticed an Iranian visa in one of the Belarusian passports.
Thus, the participation of the Belarusian sportsmen in the last stage of the World Cup in Las Vegas before the Olympics on June 21-23 is in for frustration.
