Belarus raises export duties on oil and petroleum products

Effective from 1 June 2019, Belarus will have higher export duties on crude oil and petroleum products exported out of the Eurasian Economic Union. Under the Council of Ministers resolution published on the National Legal Information Portal, the export duties on crude oil will be raised from $104.6 up to $110.4 per ton. The duties will be also increased on straight-run gasoline (from $57.5 up to $60.7 per ton) and commercial petrol from $31.3 up to $33.1 per ton.

Lat time the export duties on oil and petroleum products were revised upward was on 1 May. The duties are usually revised on a monthly basis. In early 2019 - January and February, the duties were lowered but began to grow again in March 2019.
