Belarus, Dagestan guest workers clash over jobs in St. Petersburg

Two groups of guest workers clashed on Friday's night in the Russian city of St.Petersburg, Russian Police told the Interfax news agency.
A group of guest workers from Dagestan, unhappy with being fired and replaced by construction workers from Belarus, decided to bully their foreign competitors.

Some 20 people took part in the fight. 8 people sought medical help but nobody sustained serious injuries. Two Dagestan men who spearheaded the fight have been detained. They are facing criminal charges of hooliganism.
