Belarus bans Russian pork
Belarus has banned pork supplies from Tula, Kaluga, Pskov and Moscow Oblasts of Russia.
An outbreak of the African swine fever is the reason for it, interfax.by reports. Pigs, pork, wild boar meat, forage, bristle and hunting trophies cannot be imported to Belarus from Russia. The ban also affects the equipment used for keeping and slaughtering pigs.
Three official hotbeds of the African swine fever were registered in Belarus last year – in Hrodna and Vitsebsk Provinces.
