Basketball: Belarus loses to Czech Republic – 70:73
The Czech team won at the last second.
Belarus women’s basketball team has started the second stage of the Euroepan championship with a defeat.
Belarus played the Czech Republic in group E in Debrecen, Hungary, on June 17. Our team lost 70:73 (17:18, 16:13, 19:17, 18:25). Our players were leading for almost all the match but the Czechs managed to equalize in the last quarter and won at the last second thanks to a three-point shot.
Belarus will play the next match on June 19. Our team will play Montenegro that has lost to Turkey today— 41:61.
Belarus will play the last match of the second round against France on June 20.
