Barshcheuski says BNF candidates’ appeal to party Council is fake

Lyavon Barshcheuski has claimed that the appeal of BNF deputy contenders to the Council of the party asking to reconsider the issue of candidates’ withdrawal 5 days before the elections is a fake. According to the party leader, the document was created by “one” person”. There is no date and no signatures in it.
“There is no appeal of the kind. It is a fake. They phoned people asking them whether they would like to take part in the elections. It is not a document. There is no date and no signatures in it”.

The document presented to the party administration contained the signatures of 15 out of 19 BNF candidates. One of the initiators of the appeal Yuras Hubarevuch admits that there is no signatures there but he explains it by technical issues.

“I admit that there are no candidates’ signatures in it because it was simply impossible to visit all of them in a day or two and to collect the signatures. However, all of the mentioned people can confirm that they have supported the document. They have also confirmed their desire to continue the election campaign after September 23”.
