Are Baranavichy weavers getting blind because of Economy Directive?

Workers of Baranavichy weaving-mill are losing sight. There are no windows in workshops and the only light is electric.

Hundreds of lamps used to be lit in workshops. However, ceiling lamps were switched off to save money. Lamps were installed next to every workplace. They do not light up the whole workshop but only the tissue. The dim light has resulted in workers’ sight problems.
