Another meeting of United Civil Party is conducted in Minsk

The 9th meeting of the United Civil Party has started in Minsk this morning. It is being conducted in the office of the BNF Party because the administration of the UCP has not managed to find any other office for it.
The party got 23 refusals from different institutions when it asked to lease an office over the month. The leader of the UCP Anatol Lyabedzka will make a report at the meeting. Then the delegates will discuss the party’s strategy, elect the administration and adopt an appeal to citizens, businessmen and the state.

Besides Lyabedzka, the head of Lelchytsy town affiliate of the UCP Mikalai Haurylenka is going to run for the position of the party leader.

An unofficial stage of the meeting will start after the official one is over: the delegates will go to Kastrychnitskaya Square to express their disagreement with the authorities’ policy.
