“ABS” announces contest “Belarusian teacher of the year”
A civil organization “Association of Belarusian Schools” has announced a contest “Belarusian teacher of the year” in Minsk and Minsk District on September 1.а".
The head of the organization Ales Lozka informed that teachers giving lessons in Belarusian could participate in the contest.
According to Lozka, it was important to support not only teachers of our mother tongue, our literature and history but all those giving lessons in Belarusian – for example, teachers of mathematics or physics.
The head of the “ABS” noted that teachers could be nominated by state institutions, civil associations and groups of teachers, parents and even pupils. At the end of the contest the jury will chose three best teachers from Minsk and Minsk District.
