A KGB check-up showed that workers form the plant committed a gross violation of the baking technique. Unaccounted raw material saved on baking cakes and rolls was also found. A consignment of 80 kilos of flower, 40 kilos of margarine and chocolate was prepared to be carried out from the enterprise.
Technologists have probably been saving on products for weeks. Economic sanctions have been imposed on the plant after the check-up. Four technologists have been called to account and fired and all employees of the confectionary department have been fined.
The head of the plant, a former mayor of Slomin, Aleh Laktsiushyn claimed he did not know anything about his employees’ machination.
