A representative for Defense and National Security of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, head of the Department of National Security Valery Sakhashchyk, has met with the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny. To prove this, Mr. Sakhashchyk published the photo but did not elaborate when the meeting took place and what topics were discussed. He only noted that "the plan was ready."

According to Nasha Niva, the meeting took place in November, but Valery Sakhashchyk has announced it only recently. Now It becomes clear what Mr. Sakhashchyk meant when he said at a press conference in Warsaw on December 2: "The Joint Transition Cabinet has good relations with the Ukrainian Armed Forces." Back then, he said that a new military unit of Belarusian volunteers had been created in Ukraine, and that it was soon to receive heavy weaponry. This was the result of a meeting with General Zaluzhny. The mention of the "plan" indicates that further steps may be taken in light of the threat to Ukraine coming from the territory of Belarus.
