Prices for apartments in Minsk are dropping

Over the past 12 months, rental prices for apartments in Minsk have decreased in all segments: two-room apartments have become 11.5% cheaper, three-bedroom - by 7.2%, while small apartments - by 0.4%.

According to Zviazda, prices for one-room apartments in Minsk have remained unchanged for four months in a row - they are offered for the equivalent of $270. Prices for apartments with more rooms have dropped significantly (by 2-5%). Two-room apartments are now offered for $330 and three-room apartments for $460.

The average price of a really cheap but regular apartment is in the range of $180 to $200. This housing in an area with not very good transportation (far from the subway), there is no furniture at all or bad one, and apartment is in the first or last floor.

Apartments with modern furniture in the sleeping areas (not very far from the subway) are estimated at 200-250 dollars.
