National Security Advisor John Robert Bolton will visit Minsk on August 29. Ambassador Bolton will meet with President Lukashenka and Foreign Minister Makei to discuss regional security and emphasize U.S. support for Belarus’s sovereignty and independence, U.S. Embassy in Minsk wrote on its Facebook page.

Mr Bolton will arrive in Belarus from Ukraine where he is also on a working visit. In Kyiv, he met with Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenski and laid flowers to the memorial in honor of the Ukraine soldiers that perished during the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

His visit to Minsk is accompanied by the surge in propaganda from pro-Russian sources. Euroradio has analyzed the latest Telegram updates to segregate obvious fakes from the information that may be realistic.
