In the first quarter of 2023, nthere were 80% fewer passenger vehicles sold in Belarus than in the same period last year, according to the Belarusian Automobile Association.

In total, 2,903 cars were sold: 756 in January, 945 in February and 1,202 in March.

"A positive factor is the appearance of new brands and models of cars on the Belarusian market. At the same time, however, consumer demand still exceeds supply," says Henadz Sviderski, General Director of BelGee.

The leader of sales on the Belarusian car market is Geely. This brand accounts for 72% of all new cars sold.
