Lukashenka invites Putin to Minsk, Russian President agrees to come

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has invited Vladimir Putin to Minsk by phone and he has agreed to come, the Belarusian President’s press service reports. Lukashenka and Putin ‘briefly discussed the bilateral agenda’ during their conversation.

Lukashenka also phoned President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Tuesday. Rahmon is planning to visit Belarus this week. He will also attend the closing ceremony of the II European Games.
