Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s trip to Shklou district has ended in scandal. On March 26, he visited the Kupalauskaye agricultural holding. Lukashenka was shocked by the conditions in which cows are kept. He called the farm "Auschwitz" and publicly announced dismissals of the head of the farm and the Mahiliou region, as well as a number of replacements of local officials. He threatened to launch a criminal case and make arrests. Another surprise was the visit of Alyaksandr Lukashenka to the mechanical yard. “Alyaksandr Lukashenka opened all the closed doors,” the Belarus 1 TV channel reports. He saw rusty equipment, broken gear, scrap metal, garbage.

“It looked like a mechanical cemetery, both outside and under the roof,” BelTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka as saying.
