Foreign investments in Belarus amounted to nearly $10 bn in 2017

In 2017, foreign investments in Belarus' real economy (excluding banks) amounted to $9.7 billion. Economic entities from Russia (38%), United Kingdom (over 26%) and Cyprus (7.2%) stood out as the main foreign investors. According to National Statistics Committee, Belarusian companies (excluding banks) invested nearly $5.5 billion in foreign economies, mainly in Russia (almost 67%).
