Computer with BELSAT sticker for sale in Minsk shop of confiscated goods
A computer with the sticker ‘’BELSAT” is up for sale in one of Minsk shops of confiscated goods. Vadzim Vouchak has uploaded to the photo to his Facebook account.
The stickers appeared on the equipment confiscated in the spring of 2017 when he was jailed in Akrestsina, the cameraman said.
The stickers were pasted on BELSAT’s equipment after a search in its Minsk office, cameraman Alyaksandr Lyubyanchyk confirmed. When security officials rushed into the office, Lyubyanchyk was closed in a room for a while. When witnesses arrived and he was allowed to leave the room, the stickers had already been pasted onto the computers.
Minsk office of BELSAT was searched on March 31, 2017. The court decided to confiscate the equipment and imposed huge fines on cameramen Alyaksandr Barazenka and Ales Lyubenchuk.
