The State Border Control Committee of Belarus has commented on the situation at the border posts after yesterday's statement by Aliksandr Lukashenka on the closure of borders with Poland, Lithuania, and enhanced border controls at the border with Ukraine. According to the border guards, "the protection of the state border of Belarus has been enhanced with tactical reserves."

The press office of the Border Control Force reports in Telegram that "all the measures are being taken taking into account the emerging situation in every specific direction. Border checkpoints are operating at their capacity to clear incoming and outgoing traffic."

Poland's Border Protection Service says that "road movement across the border is business as usual." The Lithuanians say the same.
