Bike carnival in Minsk gathers over 20K cyclists - in pictures

Almost 22 thousand cycling fans rode through central Minsk during the Viva Rovar international carnival on 18 May.
The international cycling carnival Viva Rovar gathered nearly 22 000 participants in Minsk on 18 May.
The festival kicked off in Pieramohi Park (Victory Park) where the entertainment area had been set up. Many participants arrived with their families and showed a lot of creativity in how they had prepared their carnival looks.
The mass ride was opened with welcome speech from Sports and Tourism Minister Siarhei Kavalchuk. He was in front of the column accompanied by the sports and showbiz celiebrities.
The carnvial ended with a concert.
