The women's football championship will kick off in Belarus on April 30 following the decision last Thursday by the Bureau of the Executive Committee of the Belarusian Football Federation. It says that the players who were "in contact with the possible carriers of COVID-19 tested negative for the virus."

Euroradio reported earlier that the tournament, originally scheduled to start on 16-18 April was postponed because several players had been quarantined.

The schedule of the women's championship has already appeared on the Internet. It is known that FC Minsk and FC Dnepr Mogilev will play each other in the first round. Women footballers from Minsk are the champions of the country and the holders of the Cup and the Super Cup. The last trophy FC Minsk won this spring.

It is planned that the women's football championship will last until 8 November.
