The Supreme Court of Belarus has upheld a suit of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) against Google. The company was fined for 1,438,941 Belarusian rubles, BelTA reports.

The MART stated that Google had violated the antimonopoly legislation by abusing its dominant position on the market of mobile software stores. The Google Play store is installed on smartphones and tablets under the Android operating system only under a number of conditions. Among these conditions is the establishment of services and programs of the corporation. This restricts third-party access.

A complaint to the MART against Google was filed by Yandex.
