The leaders of Belarus and Ecuador met in the UN headquarters in New York. Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Rafael Correa agreed to start the preparation for the Belarusian President’s visit to Ecuador.
The main topics on the agenda will be trade and economy, the Presidents agreed. Ecuador’s need in Belarusian technologies and equipment will be taken into account, BELTA reports.
The Presidents also discussed the state of Belarus-Ecuador cooperation projects which had been planned at previous top-level meetings. The two sides agreed to activate the corresponding work.
Lukashenka paid a state visit to Ecuador in the summer of 2012.
